Recruitment and Retention 2003 at the Lexington Wal-Mart

The RERG (Rockbridge Emergency Rescue Group) decided to hold a recruitment/retention day for the Rockbridge County area.  Wal-Mart allowed us to use their parking lot to set up units and displays for the public.  Members of the various squads stood at the door and invited customers to enjoy the free hotdogs, hamburgers, and drinks; and to have a look at the various exhibits.  Two vehicle extrication demonstrations were given, the smokehouse was there, and lots of family activities.  Following are some of the pictures from that day.  If you have any questions about how you can volunteer, please contact your local fire department and/or rescue squad.
