Motor Vehicle Accident
Maury River Road - 1.8 miles from Rt. 501
January 7, 1999

The driver of this vehicle slid on the ice, ran off the road, and landed halfway in the Maury River.  He was packaged and transported to Stonewall Jackson Hospital.  Members of Glasgow Fire Department and Glasgow Rescue Squad hooked up the truck to a tow vehicle and pulled the truck up onto the shore where the driver was safely extricated.
