Upon finding that a patient is need of intravenous therapy, or other advanced life support measures, our Shock-Trauma (ST) technicians or Cardiac Technicians (CT) use the equipment found inside the ST or CT box.

On outward appearance, there is not much difference between the two. The ST box is solid orange, while the CT box has a light-colored top. However, the CT box contains narcotics, whereas the ST box does not.
